Some 5 kms from Magaliesburg, situated in a tranquil valley on 45 hectares of pristine riverine bushveld, (an hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria), you will find the tranquil and picturesque environment of Whispering Pines Country Estate.

The Estate is ideal for that romantic and relaxing getaway. With only fourteen beautifully appointed cottages, the Estate is never crowded and you are assured of a quiet and peaceful stay, with all the care and attention you deserve from our friendly and professional team.

Please note that to maintain the ambiance and tranquility, we only allow children over 11 years of age.

FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

The main reception area has a cosy bar, lounge and library, and a beautiful dining room, each with fireplaces for warmth and comfort in Winter. Our own small Wellness Studio caters for all your beauty treatment and pampering massages. The Estate has two swimming pools (the smaller one is heated), table tennis, pool table, walk routes, mountain bikes and hammocks in the trees.

Whispering Pines Estate has its own Wellness Studio, which is small, intimate and highly professional in its approach to ensuring your pampering needs are met.

Your therapist, Myra McKenzie has several years of world class training and experience, both internationally and in South Africa. Treatments and products are of the highest quality and applied in a professional and caring manner.

We have two treatment rooms, one for single treatments and the second to cater for couples who desire to have simultaneous treatments.

Other facilities are changerooms, shower, toilet and reception room. We provide a personal locker and towels, gowns and slippers for your temporary use during the treatment session.

Treatments are for ladies and gentlemen.

We recommend that you book as early in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.

CUISINE

Our resident Swiss trained master chef, Philip Fishpen, has extensive local and international catering experience. His passion and dedication that goes into each and every serving is a delightful experience on the palate.

Our gardens, indigenous trees, natural bush, patios and thatched function rooms, provide a variety of exquisite settings and backdrop for the ideal outdoor - country wedding, where all aspects of your special day can take place, from the arrival drinks, to the wedding service / ceremony, to the celebrations afterwards.
